Calissa began her academic journey at Los Medanos College, where she earned three Associate Degrees in Arts & Humanities, Behavioral and Social Sciences, and Administration of Justice for Transfer. She continued her education at California State University, East Bay, earning a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Justice and Enforcement. Driven by a passion for law, Calissa obtained a Paralegal Certification before deciding to pursue a Juris Doctor degree at John F. Kennedy School of Law. After graduating and passing the bar, she plans to practice criminal and tort law. Calissa joined O’Connor Law, APC in October 2023, where she is dedicated to assisting the firm in obtaining the best possible outcomes for its clients. Prior to her legal career, Calissa was a certified firearms instructor and dealer, bringing a unique perspective and diverse experience to her work.
